What's Blooming?!

It has officially been spring for a while, but today felt like a real breakthrough in so many ways! Not only was it such a super sunny gorgeous day out, but there are now so many more flowers in bloom, birds are singing their beautiful little songs from sun up to sun down, and spring cleaning has really wound up! We are excited to introduce our newest designer Polly Wales!

Polly Wales studied Fine Art Sculpture before following her passion for jewelry at the Royal College of Art in London. She has found a way to combine her skills as a sculptor, her love of traditional casting and carving techniques and her craftsmanship to create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.

Her current collections have a raw, unconventional beauty created by the ancient jewelry-making technique known as lost wax casting. Her work creates the impression that, rather than being precisely set, the gemstones have serendipitously found their way into the gold. Married with the rich colors and beautiful cuts of fine gem stones, Polly uses multi-colored sapphires and rubies and raw diamonds directly cast into gold, creating pieces that resemble natural gem encrusted forms, like sparkling geodes split open, or discoveries from the deep. This unorthodox process is unique to Polly and has become her signature style creating stunning, timeless treasures to cherish forever.
